About Me
I am Dustin Salmon, a Masters in Education student at the University of Mary. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business from the University of North Dakota all the way back in 2007. Over the years I could not shake the feeling that I was missing something. I finally came to my senses and realized that what I was missing was working with children, specifically as a teacher. My brother informed me of a masters program at the University of Mary and off I went. |
I was born in Minot, North Dakota but I consider Fargo to be my home. I moved here in the middle of 4th grade and other then living in Grand Forks during college I have lived in Fargo since. As the photos to the left show I love to spend my time with my nieces and nephews. Between work, coaching 5th and 6th grade flag football, and family I stay pretty busy. When I find the time my hobbies include golfing, billiards, and spending as much time at the lake in Minnesota as I can.

I just finished coaching 5th and 6th grade flag football for the West Fargo park district, Go Broncos! It was a blast and I plan on doing it again next year if at all possible. My hope is that I will be teaching full time by this time next year. I will be leaving my job before the Spring Semester to begin student teaching in the Spring and applying for teaching positions for next fall.
